Without FPA, your permit will fail inspection and your wind mitigation inspector cannot credit you for opening protection. We only install FPA-documented systems.
How long does the installation take?
Most single-opening installations complete in one day. Whole-home replacements typically run 1–3 days depending on window count and any trim or interior finish work. The permit review and window lead time are the primary scheduling factors — the installation itself moves quickly.
Can I keep my existing window frames?
In some cases, yes — insert installations use the existing frame and reduce cost and disruption. However, insert installations may not qualify for full FPA documentation in all configurations.
